What Are Booking Markets?

Booking markets lets you bet on the number of yellow and red cards shown during a match. Instead of betting on goals or results, you are betting on disciplinary action - how many players get booked or sent off during a 90-minute match.

How Booking Points Work

Each card shown in a match is assigned a number of booking points. These points are used to calculate the total for the game.

Standard booking point values:

  • Yellow card = 10 points
  • Red card = 25 points
  • Second yellow (which leads to a red) = 35 points total
    • That’s 10 for the first yellow + 25 for the red.
    • The second yellow itself isn’t counted separately.
    • The maximum number of points that can be awarded to an individual player is regardless of whether a player is shown two yellow cards then a red card.

Example:

If Team A gets 3 yellow cards and 1 red card:

  • (3 × 10) + (1 × 25) = 55 total booking points

Only cards shown during the 90 minutes of regular play count. Cards in extra time or after full time usually do not apply unless stated.

NB: Cards for non-players (already substituted players, managers, players on bench) are not considered.

Booking (Card) Markets

Yellow card counts as one and a red card counts as two. Two yellow cards resulting in a player receiving a red card will be counted as a total of three bookings.

Settlement will be made according to all available evidence of cards shown during the regular 90 mins play.

Cards for non-players (already substituted players, managers, players on bench) are not considered.

First Team Booked (1st Card)

Predict which team will receive the first booking in the match. In the event of two or more players receiving a card for the same incident, the first player to be shown a card by the referee will be deemed the winner for settlement purposes. Both yellow and red cards count for this market.

Total Booking Points (Over/Under)

You bet on whether the total points in a match will be over or under a set line.

Example: The line is 45.5 points.

  • If the match ends with 50 points → Over wins
  • If it ends with 45 points → Under wins

Total Bookings (Total Cards)

Predict the total number of cards shown during the match. In this market, you’re betting on the number of cards rather than booking points.

  • Yellow card = 1
  • Red card = 2

Example: Line is 4.5 cards

  • If 5 or more cards are shown → Over wins
  • If 4 or fewer cards are shown → Under wins

Match Bookings (Cards 1X2)

Predict which team will receive the most bookings during the game during regular time.

  • 1 = Home team
  • X = Draw (same number of cards)
  • 2 = Away team

Example: If the home team gets 5 cards and the away team gets 3, then “1” wins.

Player Sent Off (Sending Off)

Predict whether a player will be sent off during normal play.

Home Team Player Sent Off (Home Sending Off)

Predict whether a player from the Home Team will be sent off during normal play.

Away Team Player Sent Off (Away Sending Off)

Predict whether a player from the Away Team will be sent off during normal play.

First Card

You bet on which team will receive the first card of the match.

  • Example: If Team B gets the first yellow card, all bets on “Team B – First Card” win.
